Here's our take on classic s'mores recipe, the delicious American-style seasonal treats. The traditional s'more usually consists of toasted marshmallows and chocolate sauce in a sandwich of Graham crackers.

Some recipes use cookies (ginger snaps work well) to sandwich the delicious chocolate and marshmallow filling. Our version of this campfire treat uses apple slices instead of biscuits for a healthier seasonal spin that eases up on the sugar but is still delicious. It means they're the perfect way to use up those leftover apples in the garden.

It's getting chillier out so this recipe is great timing for gathering round the fire pit to toast marshmallows. Read on for the super easy recipe and have fun making them over half term.
